Winter Cherry Pasta Bowtie pasta with peas, dried cherries, bacon, pinenuts, roasted pumpkin seeds, tomatoes and garlic cream sauce. Serves 6 Ingredients: 1 10 oz. bag of frozen peas, 1 bag of bowtie pasta to serve 6 persons, 10-12 cocktail tomatoes, 4 strips of bacon, ½ cup of pinenuts, 1/2 cup roasted pumpkin seeds, 6 cloves minced garlic, I bag of Stoneridge orchards dried cherries, light cream, parmesan cheese for garnish Instructions: 1. Cut the tomatoes into halves or quarters and put aside. 2. Mince 6 cloves of garlic and set aside. 3. Start the pasta, which takes about 10 minutes. In a separate small pot, you will want to cook the peas. This takes about 5 minutes. Next, in a third pan you will mix the dried cherries, with the pinenuts, roasted pumpkin seeds and tomato halves. 4. In a last pan, you will cook the bacon. Once the bacon is cooked you will cut the strips into small pieces. 5. Once the pasta is done, drain it and then pour it back into the pot and then add in all ingredients and mix them well together. 6. Sauce: 4 cloves of garlic and light cream, whisk together. Mix into the pasta. 7. Add parmesan to the mixture for added flavor. 8. Serves 6 people.
