Blueberry-Beaujolais

Ingredients
1½ Cups Stoneridge Orchards whole dried blueberries
2 Cups Beaujolais or other fruity red wine
1 Cup sugar

Preparation
1. Combine the wine and sugar in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil; cook until sugar dissolves, stirring
occasionally.
2. Add blueberries; return to a boil. Cook for 1 minute.
3. Remove from heat, and cool. Spoon blueberry mixture
into a blender; process until smooth. Cover and chill.
4. Pour mixture into the freezer can of an ice-cream
freezer; freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
Spoon into a freezer-safe container; cover and freeze
at least 1 hour.
